Real Estate is one of those topics that will likely never go out of fashion. As long as there are people, there will be an interest in purchasing and owning homes and property. 

In fact, an entire subculture of real estate writing takes a keen interest in these topics. Many real estate agents and businesses maintain lucrative blogs as a method of promotion for their main source of income. 

The goal of this article is to give you some idea of evergreen topics when facing a content drought. After all, you can’t just write only when you feel like it. Be it videos or written content, one of the primary predictors of success is consistency. 

If you set a weekly posting schedule for yourself, then you cannot break that rhythm.

Writing for Real Estate is not that different from any other type of writing. At the end of the day, you are using the Internet and its channels and algorithms.

The answer should please you, as it is also the laziest: listicles. Well-written content with carefully composed structures is inefficient to write, given that someone with a top 10 article will most likely get 5 times more views. 

Listicles combine the word “list” and “article”, and they are by far the most read form of content. Many online publications pay their bills using this article form. 

There seems to be something about the human mind that makes us attracted to information that is presented as a countdown. 

“Best 10 Swimming pools spot in City X”, or “Top 10 areas that will see a revival by 2025”, will attract more eyeballs than a technical and well-researched piece about how inflation impacts the real estate market. 

3. Interviews

Posting interviews is another way of making sure that your real estate blogs for clients never get boring. Even if you are a charming genius writer, you will start to repeat yourself at some point. 

Why not have someone else do the talking for a change? Your job will then be to transcribe and post the answers. If you do not know how to interview someone, there are basic pointers that you can research online. 

It’s not that hard, as long as you follow the rules. 

4. Local charm

Out of all real estate topics, this is the most personal. By living in a city, you will get access to a lot of knowledge that you wouldn’t know otherwise. You can post articles about the best hangout spots, the best neighborhoods to raise children, or where to live a thriving nightlife as a student. 

The idea is that an outsider or a robotic real estate corporation will never know these things. People will be more likely to trust and cherish your advice. This content for real estate blogs will also make you seem more trustworthy, given the local, homegrown nature of the posts. 

5. Old photos

Depending on where you live, these posts can work wonders. If your city has a bit of history, you can write articles about the past. 

Using black and white photos as a contrast to the modern day can give the reader a sense of continuity, and it also stimulates their curiosity. Very few readers, or people in general, will be disinterested in how the world looked a century ago. 


Your real estate blog should be treated like a business. This means that your efforts must be consistent, and easy to reproduce. Writing a masterpiece article twice per year will not manage to keep your blog afloat. 

Search engines will not index your page. As a result, you have to “bait” the search engine using  easy-to-write content that still captivates the attention of potential readers.
